I served my apprenticeship at The Creative Business and went on to write episodes of Emmerdale. I’ve had screenplays commissioned and optioned, directed many household named commercials from Fairy Liquid to Baby Bio and multi award winning Equilon, a product for irritable bowel syndrome, while managing to avoid the condition myself.

After a move to Bohemian Ramsgate, I wrote and directed several DVDs on health issues, made a short film shown in Parliament to obtain funds for the debilitating disease of Endometriosis. The Ramsgate move enabled me to start writing novels under my pen name Denise E Gow.
